Dear Students and Families,
Next week is Fall Break, and we hope everyone has the opportunity to slow down, rest, and recharge before we begin a new quarter. Our students have worked hard, and they deserve some time to relax, enjoy their families, and come back ready for what’s ahead.
We have a lot to look forward to in the next quarter, including Boo Bash, Red Ribbon Week, Veterans Day, and other activities and events for our students. As you look through this newsletter, you’ll also find important information about holiday assistance, Veterans Day, picture retakes, and more.
Thank you for your continued support of our students and our school. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable Fall Break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, October 19 for another great quarter at MVIS!
Sincerely,
Ms. Ashley Gustin
Principal

Please complete this form to apply for holiday assistance. All applications are due no later than the end of the school day on Monday, Nov. 2nd! Applications received after this date will not be processed.
Due to the expansion of our community, MV is not able to match all families directly with donors. While we make our best effort to match each family to a donor group, we feel obligated to inform you that assistance is not guaranteed. Should you not be sponsored by the school district, the school will notify you and provide resources to outside agencies in the community.
Please note: This program is intended to serve school aged students and younger siblings. By filling out this form, you are authorizing MVCSC to release your family information as listed on this application to donor groups or community service organizations. This information will only be used to contact you to schedule deliveries or pickups and to gain access to your family's wish list. Please enter your email to consent to release of this information.

Friendships can be one of the best parts of childhood — and one of the most painful. If you’ve watched your child navigate friend drama, social exclusion, or the pressures of group chats, you know how hard it can be to know when to step in and what to say.

For the safety of our students, we would like to remind families that we do not allow walk-up dismissal at the end of the school day. If you need to pick your student up early, the latest time to pick them up is 3:00 PM. After that time, students will need to be picked up through our car rider line.
We appreciate your cooperation and support in helping us maintain a safe and orderly dismissal process for all students.
